WC Showing champs have come and gone

Kate, Jo-marie, Lawrence and myself had a hectics schedulo to keep for Showing champs. Everything was well organised but its still a mission to get 4 horses ready for showing.

Pastel did so well and is really starting to turn into a pretty show mare. Hantam lost his winning streak because he was misbehaving a bit.

Spook had his first of everything and showed what metal he is made of, pure gold if you ask me. He boxed for the first time, travelled for the first time and went showing for the first time in a space of a weekend. He won the Nooitgedacht Partbred class and did well enough in the General Breed Gelding class.

But the star of the show once again was our youngest stud stallion, Impendulo Vonk. He won the Nooitgedacht Stallion class, he came second in the General Breed Stallion class and went on the be the Nooitgedacht Supreme In-hand Reserve champion. Well done to Jo-marie that spent hours to get him to where he is.

As with many things in life the second phase for Spook and Vonk also began with them going to LM Horsemanship for a month, right after the Showing Champs. They are doing so well and soon will be coming home so we can slowly start to mould them into our next generation riding horses.
